Inez Layton Woitte, 78, of Moline, IL, died Friday, December 13, 2013, at Riverwood Rehab, East Moline, IL.
Visitation will be from 4:00 - 6:00 p.m. on Monday, December 16, 2013 at Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd. 6601 38 Avenue, Moline. Additional visitation will be from 12:00 - 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday at Calvary Lutheran Church, 2900 Avenue of the Cities, Moline. A funeral service will follow at 1:00 p.m. Burial will be at Greenview Memorial Gardens at a later time. Memorials may be made to Calvary Lutheran Church.
Inez was born on October 21, 1935, in Orion, IL, the daughter of George Forrest and Edna (Brasmer) Johnson.
She married Roy Woitte on December 31, 1983, in Moline.
Inez worked as a fry cook for various restaurants including Mulkey's Restaurant in Rock Island, and the Italian Village in both Rock Island and Moline. She was a member of Orion Baptist Church and Calvary Lutheran Church. Inez enjoyed reading and gardening.
