Irene T. York, 86, of East Moline, IL, died Friday, February 22, 2013, at Genesis Medical Center, Illini Campus, Silvis, IL.
Funeral Services will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, February 26, 2013, at Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd., 6601 38th Avenue, Moline, IL. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Monday, February 25, 2013, at the funeral home. Burial will be at Greenview Memorial Gardens, East Moline. Memorials may be made to New Life Fellowship, Moline.
Irene was born on March 5, 1926, in Rock Island, IL, the daughter of William P. and Daisy (Colbert) Marvin. She married Roger A. York on November 26, 1944, in Moline. He preceded her in death on January, 31, 1989,
Irene worked as an assembler with Buddy L. She was a member of New Life Fellowship in Moline, the Colona House Red Hat Club and was a 25 year member of RSVP or Retired and Senior Volunteer Program of Rock Island and Scott Counties. She attended In-Touch and was an avid bingo & card player.
