Jacob R. Scrowther, 26, of Moline, IL, left this life on Tuesday, December 2, 2014, at home.

A celebration of life will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, December 7, 2014, at Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd., 6601 38th Avenue, Moline. Visitation will be from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, December 6, 2014, at the funeral home. Cremation rites will be accorded following the services and burial of cremains will be at Moline Memorial Park at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to his family.

Jacob was born on December 13, 1987, in Moline, IL, the son of Ned K. and Deb Scrowther. He worked as a chef for Bass Street Chop House.

Jacob enjoyed vinyl records, music, skateboarding, and movies. He held a very special connection with his nieces and nephews. Above all, he loved his family, friends, and food.
