James C. Neubauer

Jim Neubauer, 72, of East Moline passed away in his sleep Saturday after a brief illness.

Jim was born on July 23, 1949, in Moline, the son of Zeno and Stella (Fleming) Neubauer.

Jim was born with cerebral palsy. This disability didn’t slow him down. Jim was a real people person and made friends easily. He lived in Springbrook Courts, Moline for a good portion of his life where he was a friend to generations of residents there. He loved animals and enjoyed being outside. His pleasant personality served him well during his life.

He is survived by brothers Jon Neubauer, Bart Neubauer and a sister Brenda. He was preceded in death by his parents Zeno and Stella Neubauer.

Cremation rites have been accorded. A private interment will be held at Greenview Memorial Gardens
