James "Jim" Hall

James “Jim” Hall, 64, of Coal Valley, passed away at UnityPoint Health Trinity in Rock Island on Sunday, November 3, 2019.

Cremation rites have been accorded.  Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd. is assisting the family.

Jim was born to George M. and Lucille M. (Michaels) Hall on September 4, 1955, in Aledo, Illinois.  He married Vickie L. Short on June 15, 1974 in Aledo.  Jim sold and delivered semi-truck tires for Fire Stone and Good Year, retiring from Keisters in Kewanee.

Jim was a Minnesota Vikings fan and he enjoyed fishing, hiking and walks in the snow with his dog.  His true passion was his Halloween display at his home, which he kept up from October 1st until November 1st.

Survivors include his wife of 45 years, Vickie; sisters, Linda (Frank) Prosser, Wanda (Sam) Olson; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Nancy May, and his dogs, Puppy and Shebee.
