Janette M. Farrar, 74, Toulon, formerly of Rock Island, IL, died Friday, March 28, 2014, at Toulon Health Care, Toulon, IL.

Memorial services will be held at 4:00 p.m., Saturday, April 12, 2014, at Two Rivers United Methodist Church, 1820 - 5th Avenue, Rock Island, IL. Visitation will be from 3:00 to 4:00 prior to the service at the church. Private burial of the cremains will be at Rock Island Memorial Park. Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd., Moline is assisting the family.

Janette was born on August 26, 1939 in Rock Island, Illinois, the daughter of George B. and Freda (Helmer) Sproul. She married Lee Farrar in 1958 in El Paso, TX.

Janette worked as a Meal Site Manager at Project Now. She loved drawing, painting, and singing. She also enjoyed horseback riding and spending time with her family and grandkids. She was a member of Two Rivers United Methodist Church, Rock Island, where she sang in the church choir for 30 years. Janette was the past president of Audubon Elementary School PTA.

Grandchildren: Madison, Logan, Reece, Erin, Keri, and Rick
Brother: Kenneth Sproul Diamond City, Arkansas


She was preceded in death by her parents, 1 daughter, Audrey, and 2 brothers.
