Jarrett E. Fossum, 17, of Bettendorf, IA, died Saturday, November 28, 2015, at UnityPoint Health - Trinity Bettendorf, Bettendorf, IA.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, December 3, 2015, at Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd., 6601 38th Avenue, Moline. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, December 2, 2015, at the funeral home. Cremation rites will be accorded following the services. Memorials may be made to the family.
Jarrett was born on August 6, 1998, in Peoria, IL, the son of Courtney H. and Diana L. Karn Fossum. He worked at Hall of Fame Pizza and Hy-Vee in Bettendorf.
Jarrett loved country music and the Chicago Cubs.
Survivors include his father and step mother, Courtney Fossum and Debbie Wicker, Cambridge, IL; mother and step father, Diana Fossum and Roger Floyd, Bettendorf, IA; brothers, Johnathan (Alysia) Wangelin, Galva, IL, Matthew (Holly) Wangelin, Cambridge, IL, D'Jay Fossum, Bettendorf, IA; maternal grandparents, Merle and Karna Karn, Bettendorf, IA; paternal grandparents, Howard and Aldine Fossum, Glen Rose, TX; niece, Libby Wangelin, Cambridge, IL; beloved dog, Chuck.
