Jason L Lenger

Jason Walter Lenger, 46, of Milan, passed away at his home on February 23, 2019.

Cremation rites will be accorded and there will be a private prayer service for the immediate family only.  Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd., is assisting the family.

Jason was born on April 13, 1972, in Muscatine, Iowa, the son of Larry and Audrey Kerr Lenger. Jason graduated in 1990 from Millbrook High School in Raleigh, North Carolina.  Upon returning to the Quad Cities, he followed his love of the stock market as an independent options trader.  Jason was a health nut and enjoyed working out and cooking.  He was an avid sports fan, especially the Chicago Cubs.

Jason is survived by his daughter, Samantha “Sam” Lenger, Raleigh, NC; mother, Audrey; sister, Melissa (Adam) Ernat; aunts and uncles, Bob Lenger, Rock Island, Carol (Ned) Seibel, North Carolina; Jerry Lenger, Garner, NC, Barb Cummings, Aurora, IL, Barb (Art) Lehmann, Minneapolis, MN; niece and nephew, Abigail and Landen Ernat; and his beloved dog, Chicago.

He is preceded in death by his father, Larry.
