Jay J. Schaab, of Geneseo, IL. Born on September 3, 1954, to William and Charlotte Brown Schaab. Died October 27, 2022. Private family services will be held. Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd., Moline, is assisting the family.

Vicki gave me my first kiss six feet up in the branches of our apple tree. At 16 I met my Coal Valley girl, Luann, my souls love. At 20 I graduated to the Bahai Faith. I’ve built roads and bridges, warehouses, and homes. I’ve traveled the country north to south, east to west. Walked with bison in Yellowstone. Saw Golden Eagles soar above the desert. Seen pronghorns race across the plains. Hiked the Rockies and the Cascades. Met hundreds of friends and a few angels. If we were once friends, we always will. If I loved you then, I love you still. Our souls love forever, and our hearts never forget. See you next when we’re all above. Any prayers greatly appreciated as are all my friends.
