Jean Marie Terry, 70, of Moline, IL, died Wednesday, August 27, 2014, at UnityPoint Health - Trinity Rock Island, Rock Island, IL.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, September 3, 2014, at Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd., 6601 38th Avenue, Moline. A Rosary will be held at 4:30 p.m. and visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, September 2, 2014, at the funeral home. Burial will be at Rose Lawn Memorial Estates.
Jean was born on February 28, 1944, in Moline, IL, the daughter of Willard and Katherine Coffin Reynolds. Her step father was Theron Johnson. She married John Terry on April 5, 1969, in Rock Island, IL.
Jean worked as an accountant for Jaydon and later managed Carol's Dairy store. She was a tireless volunteer for Boy Scouts of America. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church where she belonged to the Altar & Rosary Society. For years, Jean made and sold crafts for the Eriksen Craft Shows and QCA Expo Center. She also provided in-home care for many friends. More than anything, Jean was a very involved and loving grandmother.
