Jenna B. Campbell, a wife, mother, daughter and friend, passed away at the age of 44 at UnityPoint Health Trinity Rock Island, Illinois peacefully Wednesday, May 7, 2025, surrounded by all of her loved ones after a brave battle with stage four Renal Cell Carcinoma.
Jenna Campbell’s wishes, cremation rites have been accorded. Memorials may be made and sent to the family.
Jenna Campbell was born on October 8,1980, in Batesville, Arkansas, the only child of Michael Schoenbrun and Rebecca Brooks. She married Jan Michael (Mike) Campbell Jr on September 18, 1999, in Cave City, Arkansas.
Jenna and Mike celebrated their 25th wedding anniversary together before her illness. She enjoyed learning new things, playing games, reading, coloring, making jewelry, watching movies, cooking, and most of all spending quality time with family and friends. She was a fantastic mother to Jack, Will, and Sarah Campbell. She always knew how to fix appliances around the house and solve everyone's problems. She always knew how to put a smile on your face and always had open arms for everyone. Jenna loved her people and pets fiercely and if she considered you a friend, you were a lucky person indeed. She was a very brave and thoughtful person and when her illness became harder, she fought stronger.
Jenna Campbell graduated high school early in 1997 and graduated from Black Hawk College with honors from Phi Theta Kappa with an Associate’s degree in 2023.
Survivors include her husband, Michael; children, Jack Campbell, Will Campbell, and Sarah Campbell; mother-in-law, Lou Campbell; sister-in-law, Michelle Campbell; nephew, Anthony Campbell; mother, Rebecca Brooks; father, Michael Schoenbrun; uncle Roger Brooks; cousin, Lori Brooks McAllister. She was preceded in death by her father-in-law Jan Michael Campbell and her grandparents Mr. and Mrs. Brooks.
We would like to thank the University of Iowa Hospital ICU staff and the UnityPoint Health Hospital Rock Island ICU staff for making a difficult time much easier for a struggling family with their nurturing compassion throughout Jenna’s illness.
