Jennifer "Jenn" N. Otto

Jennifer “Jenn” N. Otto, 42, of East Moline, passed away March 16, 2025, at MercyOne Genesis Medical Center, Silvis.

Cremation rites will be accorded, and a celebration of life will be held at a later date. Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd., Moline, is assisting the family.

Jenn was born on October 26, 1982, in Iowa City, Iowa, the daughter of Jeff and Kim Otto. She had been employed at Costco. Jenn enjoyed studying medical sciences and also astro-physics and cosmology. She was a passionate activist for issues that were important to her including autism and women’s rights.

Survivors include her son, Logan Otto; father, Jeff Otto; mother, Kim Holtz; sisters, Ryan Gunter and Regan Gunter; niece, Raelyn Gunter; nephew, Ronan Gunter; grandmothers, Jolane Otto and Corinne Gunter.

She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Robert Otto.
