Jerry D. Fenton, 76, of Colona, IL, died Friday, December 04, 2015, surrounded by loved ones at home.

Visitation will be from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 8, 2015, at Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd., 6601-38th Avenue, Moline, IL. Memorials may be made to the family.

Jerry was born on October 16, 1939 in Centerville, IA, the son of Vernon & Marjorie McFatridge Fenton. He married Marilyn Cushman on December 12, 1977, in Geneseo, IL. She preceded him in death on August 26, 2013.

Jerry was employed as a Machinist at Deere Harvester in Moline for 39 years, last working in 2002. In his early years, he was employed by Valley Construction. After his retirement, he worked at the Quad City Airport.
Jerry loved spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. In his younger years, he enjoyed deer hunting and fishing.
