Joan Patricia Plumb, 73, of Moline, died Sunday, January 18, 2015, at home.

Funeral services will be held at 12 p.m. on Wednesday, January 21, 2015, at Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd., 6601 38th Avenue, Moline. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home. Per her wishes, cremation rites will follow the services. Memorials may be made to Word of God Lutheran Church for the Deaf.

Joan was born on August 30, 1941, in Chicago, IL, the daughter of Charles and Helen Poncar. She married Lawrence K. Plumb on June 23, 1989, in Havana, IL. She worked as a computer programmer for the Rock Island Arsenal for 30 years, retiring in 2006.

Joan was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Davenport and Word of God Lutheran Church for the Deaf. She enjoyed fishing, waterskiing, and bowling. More than anything she loved being with her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
