Joyce Jean Reddick, 82, of Woodhull, IL, died Monday, February 01, 2016, at home.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, February 6, 2016, at Kirk, Huggins & Esterdahl Funeral Home, Ltd., 1301 4th Street, Orion, IL. Visitation will be from 9:30 to 11 a.m. prior to the service at the funeral home. A graveside service will be held at 9 a.m. Monday, February 8, 2016, at Memorial Park Cemetery in Muscatine, IA. Memorials may be made to WDLM for Bibles for overseas.
Joyce was born on December 26, 1933, in Fonda, IA, the daughter of George and Hazel Peppel. She married Harlan Reddick on April 28, 1956, in Muscatine, IA. She worked as a kitchen aide and later in the laundry department for Hillcrest Home.
Joyce was a member of Osco Community Church, where she sang in the choir. She enjoyed gardening and loved life.
Survivors include her loving husband, Harlan; son, Lawrence (Rose Marie) Reddick, Osco, IL; daughter, Carolyn Ansley, Woodhull, IL; grandchildren, Lynnette Reddick, Shawna (Dan) Johnson, Seth Reddick, Samuel Reddick, Jessica Myers, and Desiree Myers; great grandchildren, Riley Johnson, Keegan Johnson, Liam Johnson, Gabriel Johnson, and Natalie.
She was preceded in death by her parents and brothers and sisters.
