J. "Til" "Teeny" Goddard

J. “Til” “Teeny” Goddard of Atkinson, Illinois, passed away Friday, August 19, 2022, at the age of 97.

As per her wishes, cremation rites will be accorded, and there will be no services. Private inurnment will be at Chippiannock Cemetery, Rock Island. Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd., Orion, is assisting the family.

She was born on December 22, 1924, to Randall Walter and Genevieve (Litterst) Blunt in Milan, Illinois. She graduated from Sherrard High School in 1943. She married Warren J. Goddard in 1945, in Rock Island and he preceded her in death in 1979. She was a homemaker and later became the manager of Skateland in East Moline, Illinois, where she worked for a number of years. She retired in 1976, and moved to Crescent City, Florida, where she resided until July of 2018.

She is survived by two sons, Randall J. Goddard of Atkinson, Illinois, and Jerry L. Goddard of Coal Valley, Illinois; two grandchildren, Lisa McDowell and Bradley Goddard; along with two great -grandchildren and very special friend, Marcia L. Johnson.
