Judith A. Dieter, 73, of East Moline, IL, died Thursday, December 11, 2014, at Lighthouse of Silvis, Silvis, IL.
The family is planning a celebration of life to be held in January, following the holidays, at the Quad City Botanical Center, 2525 4th Avenue, Rock Island, IL. Per her wishes, cremation rites have been accorded. Memorials may be made to the children's garden at the Quad City Botanical Center or to the Alzheimer's Association. Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Moline, is assisting the family with arrangements.
Judith was born on July 4, 1941, in Pana, IL, the daughter of Howard and Rosaleen Batson Culumber. She married Allen C. Dieter on May 18, 1963, in Glen Ellyn, IL. She was a member of Messiah Lutheran Church in Port Byron, IL. Judith enjoyed collecting hankies and hearts and gardening. More than anything, she loved spending time with her grandchildren.
