Judith Westerdahl

Judith Westerdahl, 80, of Moline, passed away Saturday, October 1, 2022, at UnityPoint Health – Trinity, Rock Island.

Graveside services will be held at 10am on Thursday, October 6, 2022, at Greenview Memorial Gardens, 1201 Avenue of the Cities, East Moline, IL 61244.  Memorials may be made to Bethel Wesley United Methodist Church, 1201 13th St, Moline, IL 61265.

Judith was born on October 27, 1941, in Jacksonville, IL, the daughter of William and Mabel (Jones) Hayes. She first married Ronald Young in 1958, in Milan. Judith then married Glenen Matucha in 1986, in Moline. She later married Ellwood Westerdahl in 1994, in Moline. Judith retired from Trinity Medical Center in 2000. She was a member of Bethel Wesley United Methodist Church and the Rebekah Circle. She enjoyed crocheting and playing cards, cribbage, and shuffleboard.

Survivors include her daughters, Ann (Terry) Bunting, and Karen (Rick) Wallace; 6 grandchildren, 2 step-grandchildren, 6 step-great grandchildren; sisters, Carol Burgess, Alabama, and Darlene Pauls, Virginia; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husbands, granddaughter, Amanda Bunting, 2 sisters, 1 brother, and 8 half siblings.
