Judy M. Quidort

Judy M. Quidort, 81, of Moline, passed away Saturday, September 3, 2022, at Select Specialty Hospital, Davenport.

Funeral services will be held at 11am on Monday, September 12, 2022, at Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd, 6601 38th Ave, Moline, IL 61265.  Visitation will be from 2pm to 4pm on Sunday, September 11, 2022,  at the funeral home.  Burial will be at Rock Island National Cemetery.  Memorials may be made to Wounded Warrior Project, St Jude Children’s Research Hospital, or Rock Island Food Bank.

Judy was born on August 8, 1941, in Denver CO, the daughter of Raymond and Essie (Sherman) Bashline. She married Michael “Mike” D. Quidort, Sr. on January 9, 1960, in Broomfield, CO. He preceded her in death on December 3, 2006. She graduated from the University of Northern Colorado with a degree in education in 1991.

Judy was a member of New Life Fellowship in Moline where she helped with the Missionettes girls’ program. She loved teaching, being with her family, and going to church. Judy enjoyed traveling, sewing, reading, and crafts of all kinds.

Survivors include her sons, Michael D. Quidort, Jr., Fairburn, GA, Kenneth (Carla) Quidort, Colorado Springs, CO, Jerry Quidort, Greenville, SC; daughter, Laurell (David) Cook, Windham, NH; 6 grandchildren, Christopher Quidort, Jennifer Hart, Nicole (Josh) Schnieder, James Quidort, Andrew & Dylan Cook; 4 great grandchildren; sister, Beverly Mogenson; and brother, Robert Bashline.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, brother Raymond, sister Elizabeth, and daughter-in-law Diana.
