June Lee DuBurg, 91, of Moline, IL, died Friday, May 22, 2015, at Bickford Cottage, Moline, IL.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, May 28, 2015, at Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd., 6601 38th Avenue, Moline. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, May 27, 2015, at the funeral home. Burial will be at National Cemetery at the Rock Island Arsenal. Memorials may be made to the Shriner's Children's Hospital or to the Moline Masonic Lodge #1014.
June was born on June 8, 1923, in Illinois City, IL, the daughter of Clyde and Lela Diekman Rausch. She married Richard Ivan DuBurg on August 30, 1942, in Viola, IL, and they later resided in East Moline and Moline.
June had been a secretary at Mercer County Clerk's Office in Aledo, Rock Island Arsenal, American Machine Metal and House of JB in Moline, IL. She was also a full time mother and homemaker.
She spent many, many years traveling worldwide and also spent over 25 retirement years with Richard in Florida in the winters. June had a wicked sense of humor, was a consummate joke teller and loved to dance. She easily could have been a Radio City Hall Rockette but for her height of just under 5 feet.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband of 70 years on January 14, 2012, Richard; son, Richard Joseph DuBurg; brothers, Kenneth Rausch and Keith Rausch; sisters, Lois Vance, Lura Holton, Rachel Sloan, and Jewel Rausch, in infancy.
