June Gosa, age 70, of Moline, died Saturday, November 1, 2008 at Select Speciality Hospital. Davenport.
Mass of Christian Burial will be10:00 a.m. Thursday, November 6, 2008 at St. Maria Goretti Catholic Church, Coal Valley. Visitation is from 4:00-8:00 p.m. Wednesday, with a prayer service at 7:30 p.m. at Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd. 6601-38th Avenue, Moline. Burial is in National Cemetery, Rock Island Arsenal.
June was born June 24, 1938 in Milan, the daughter of Rudolph and Ruth (Hendon) Gengler. She married Ned Gosa, Sr. on June 2, 1956 in Muscatine.
June was a member of St. Maria Goretti Catholic Church in Coal Valley where she was active with church dinners and a former member of the church guild. She was always sending birthday cards and sympathy cards, taking pictures and was a big recycler. June loved her family and was very influential in keeping the family together.
