Karen Christiason, 47, of Moline, IL, died Thursday, May 17, 2012 at Trinity Rock Island.
Private Family Services will be held at a later date. Inurnment will be at Moline Memorial Park Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Trinity Nursing Scholarship Fund. Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd., Moline, is assisting the family with arrangements.
Karen was born on November 9, 1964 in Moline, IL, the daughter of Walton L. and Elaine M. (Peterson) Christiason. She worked as an Administrative Assistant at William T. Phares Law Firm. She was a member of the Clara Lodge No. 118 Independent Order of Vikings and had worked for several years as a travel agent. Karen enjoyed traveling, especially to Disney World. She was also known as "Mame" to her nieces & nephews and their friends.
