Karla Livesay

Karla B. Livesay, 48, of East Moline, died Friday, October 5, 2018, at her home.

Services will be held at 11:30 a.m., Friday, October 12, 2018, at the Greenview Memorial Gardens Chapel Mausoleum, East Moline.  Visitation will be from 10 to 11 a.m., Friday, at Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd., 6601 38th Ave., Moline, prior to the services.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family.  All need to use 60th Street for access to the funeral home.

Karla was born on April 6, 1970, in Silvis, the daughter of Mark Peterson and Linda Livesay.

Karla loved being around animals, especially dogs and horses and she had previously worked as a horse trainer and most recently as a dog groomer.

Survivors include her daughter, Morgan (Otis Surratt, Jr.) Livesay, Moline; mother, Linda Livesay, East Moline; father, Mark (Linda) Peterson, Fairfield, IA; grandson, Otis Surratt, Jr.; sister, Laura (Jeff) Yeater, Milan; nephew, Kyle Yeater; niece, Emily Yeater; uncle, Robert C. (Karen) Livesay, Ft. Myers, FL; dear friend, Jennifer (Wade) Viager, New Windsor; godchildren, Kolton Stropes and Briar Viager.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Robert K. and Virginia G. Livesay.
