Karla Lynn McKeag

Karla Lynn McKeag, 60, of Carbon Cliff, passed away October 31, 2021, at her residence.

Visitation will be from 4:00-6:00 p.m. Friday, November 5, 2021, at Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd., Moline.  Cremation rites will take place following the visitation.  Memorials may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project.

Karla was born on October 12, 1961, in Moline, Illinois, the daughter of James and Judith (Long) Foss Sr.  She worked for the Rock Island Arsenal for 31 years.

Survivors include her father, James (Carolyn) Foss; children, Nathan (Amanda Kraklio) McKeag, and Natasha McKeag; siblings, James Foss Jr., Rhonda Foss, Todd (Christine Thompson) Foss, Tabitha Gibson, and Rodney (Gidget Wenzel) Foss; step-sisters, Peggy Bainter and Pam (John) Osborne; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Judith Foss; infant brother, Rodney Ray Foss; and grandparents, Marvin and Helen Long, Helen and Palmer Foss, and step-grandmother, Pearl Long.
