Katherine Shaner, 85, of East Moline, IL, died Thursday, December 18, 2014, at Genesis Medical Center - Silvis Campus, Silvis, IL.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, December 23, 2014 at First Baptist Church, 1101- 10th Avenue, Silvis, IL. Visitation will be from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Monday, December 22, 2014 at Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd, 6601-38th Avenue, Moline, IL. Burial will be at Greenview Memorial Gardens. Memorials may be made to First Baptist Church.
Katherine was born on January 3, 1929, in Moline, IL, the daughter of George and Cecelia Chernoh Soterion. She married William F. Shaner on June 26, 1949 in Silvis, IL. Katherine was a member of First Baptist Church in Silvis.
