Kathleen Ann Newburg, 64, of Rapids City, IL, died Wednesday, October 07, 2015, at home.
A memorial service will be held at 4 p.m. Saturday, October 10, 2015, at Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd., 6601 38th Avenue, Moline, IL. Visitation will be held from 3 to 4 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home. Per her wishes, cremation rites have been accorded. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Dan Newburg for the grandchildren's college funds.
Kathleen was born on February 16, 1951, in Moline, IL, the daughter of Robert and Luella Baker Mullikin. She married Dan Newburg on November 1, 1969, at Plymouth Gordon Church. She worked as a cook at Riverdale School District and as a home day care provider, retiring in 2005.
Kathleen was a member of Erie Christian Church. She enjoyed embroidery, shopping at flea markets, sewing, and attending craft shows.
Survivors include her husband, Dan Newburg; 3 daughters; 2 grandchildren.
