Kathleen Simmons-Schaffter

Kathleen Simmons-Schaffter, 57, of Moline, passed away Sunday, April 3, 2022, at her home.

Cremation rites will be accorded, and a Celebration of Life Gathering will be held at 4:30 p.m., Friday, April 8, 2022, at River City Church, 2305 7th Avenue, Moline.  Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd., Moline, is assisting the family.

Kathleen was born on August 1, 1964, in Berwyn, Illinois, the daughter of Henry and Mary (Hall) Simmons. She loved horses and being with her family.

Survivors include her sons, Cody (Alicia) Schaffter, and Trevor Schaffter; grandchildren, Remington, Alexzander, and Haley; sister, Dorothy Gould, and brother, Jim (Sharon) Simmons.

She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Jennifer; and brother-in-law, Gavin Gould.
