Kathleen M Wilson

Kathleen M. Wilson, 86, of Port Byron, passed away Monday, July 5, 2021, at her residence.

Cremation rites have been accorded.  Memorial visitation will be from 4:00-6:00 p.m. Thursday, July 8, 2021, at Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd., Moline.  Memorials may be made to an animal shelter of your choice or take a friend to lunch.

Kathleen was born on September 15, 1934, in London, England, the daughter of Henry George and Mary Elizabeth (King) Taylor.  She married Donald E. Wilson on January 17, 1953, in London.  Kathleen worked as a beautician for Paul’s beauty salon.  She loved animals, gardening, knitting, and needle work.

Survivors include her children, Sandy (Gene) Purvis, East Moline, Debra (John) Morris, Bettendorf, Cherrie (Kevin) Anderson, Geneseo, Bob (Tina Ellis) Wilson, Silvis; 10 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; siblings, Doris Spencer, Hastings, England, Tom Taylor, Northampton, England.

She was preceded in death by her husband, and parents.
