Kathleen Marie Zwicker, 56, of Orion, IL, died Sunday, May 13, 2012 at Clarissa C. Cook Hospice House, Bettendorf, IA.
Funeral Services will be held at 12 p.m. on Thursday, May 17, 2012 at Kirk, Huggins & Esterdahl Funeral Home, Ltd., 1301 4th Street, Orion. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, May 16, 2012 at the funeral home. Burial will be at Sherrard Cemetery. Memorials may be made to her children.
Kathleen was born on December 4, 1955 in Moline, IL, the daughter of Robert E. and Stella D. (King) Adamek. She graduated from Sherrard High School in 1974 and Drake College in 1978 with degrees in Journalism and Graphic Arts. She married Michael Zwicker on July 28, 1979 in Sherrard, IL. Kathleen worked in the Ag Pricing Department at Deere & Co. where she retired from in 2007. More recently, Kathleen was working as the Pricing Coordinator for Sedona Technology. She was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Orion as well as the Scott County Kennel Club. Kathleen was involved with the Lakeshore Pembroke Welsh Corgi Club as well as the Pembroke Welsh Corgi Club of America and the Tri-City Kennel Club.
