Kathryn J Doyle

Kathryn “Kathy” J. Doyle, 70, of Moline, passed away April 13, 2024, at OSF Saint Francis Medical Center.

Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Friday, April 19, 2024, at Esterdahl Mortuary and Crematory, Ltd., Moline. Private burial will be at Moline Memorial Park. Memorials may be made to the family.

Kathy was born on January 27, 1954, in Moline, the daughter of Roy and Dorothy (Hartogh) Doyle. She was employed in property management at the Rock Island Arsenal and would have celebrated working there for fifty years in June. Kathy enjoyed her work and being with her family. She was an avid reader and a supporter of the Moline Public Library. She was a kind and thoughtful person and always put others before herself.

Survivors include her children, Benjiman (Brandy) Wade, Tanya Hurtado; grandchildren, McKenzie (Blake) Smith, Christopher (Esperanza) Ross, Tohama Hurtado and Gavin Dolan; great grandchildren, Aiden, Savanna. Eli, Talia and expecting baby Wade; siblings, Jim, Bob (Harriet), Rick (Kelly), Karen, Kim, Jeff (Nancy), Gary; many nieces, nephews, and cousins; and longtime friend and ex-boyfriend Frank Wade.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Roy and Dorothy; niece, Lynn, nephew, John; and dear family friends, Sam and Dorothy Moose.
