Kathy J. Shouse, 61, of Cambridge, IL, died Wednesday, March 9, 2016, at home.
A family directed memorial service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, March 31, 2016, at Wildwood Church, 18717 Hubbard Road, East Moline, IL. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church. Per her wishes, cremation rites have been accorded. Memorials may be made to the family. Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd., Moline, is assisting the family with arrangements.
Kathy was born on November 26, 1954, in Hartley, IA, the daughter of Wayne and Lois Templeman Shouse. For 23 years, she worked for Eagle’s Food Center.
Kathy was a member of Wildwood Church in East Moline, where she was a Servanthood Evangelism participant. She enjoyed painting and taking photos.
Survivors include her daughter, Carrie Roberson; brother, Terry Shouse, Milan, IL; grandchildren, Caleb Roberson, Kallie Roberson, Harleigh Berthoud, and Haiyden Berthoud; niece, Sherri Smith; and nephew, Jereamy Shouse; also, her dearly loved companion, her dog, Chubby.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Gary; sister, Sheryl. Shouse.
