Kevin R. Alter, 47, of Moline, IL, died Tuesday, January 06, 2015, at Genesis Medical Center - Silvis Campus, Silvis, IL.
There will be a family directed memorial service at 11 a.m. Saturday, January 10, 2015, at Riverside United Methodist Church, 712 16th Street, Moline. Cremation rites have been accorded and there will be no visitation. Memorials may be made to the family. Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd., Moline, is assisting the family with arrangements.
Kevin was born on August 13, 1967, in Moline, IL, the son of Robert and Donna Jean Lausten Alter. He graduated from nursing school at Black Hawk College and went on to work at the University of Iowa Hospital.
He enjoyed fishing and more than anything, he loved spending his time with his boys.

Brother Duane (Megan) Alter
Niece and nephew Christopher and Andrea
He was preceded in death by his mother.
