Kirk David Addis

Kirk David Addis, 65, of St. Charles, IL, passed away, May 11, 2025.

Graveside services will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Sunday, January 4, 2026, at Western Township Cemetery. Following the service, refreshments will be served at the Orion United Methodist Church. Cremation rites have been accorded. Esterdahl Mortuary and Crematory, Ltd., Orion are assisting the family. Memorials may be made to a local animal shelter. 

Kirk was born on September 2, 1960, in Moline, IL, the son of Bill and Elaine (Jordan) Addis. He married Roberta (Houle) Addis at Orion United Methodist Church on August 29, 1987. Kirk graduated from Western Illinois University and received his bachelor’s degree in business in May of 1984, and master’s degree in business administration in December of 1985. He was a member of the Phi Kappa Theta Fraternity. Kirk worked at Robert Bosch as a senior product manager of the diesel product line from April of 2007 until October of 2021. Kirk was a car and motorcycle enthusiast. He loved NASCAR racing, driving his ’66 Mustang Convertible, and riding his motorcycle with his wife, Roberta on many trips touring the United States.

Survivors include his wife, Roberta Addis; sisters-in-law, Laurel Houle and Suzanna Houle; brother-in-law, David Houle; nephew, Bill Houle; several cousins.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents Elmer and Edith Jordan and Charles and Mabel Addis; parents, Bill and Elaine Addis; aunt, Beverly Jordan; brother-in-law, Daniel Houle.
