Kurt Bealer, Jr., 59, of Geneseo, IL, died Saturday, June 21, 2014, at his home.

Visitation will be from 3:00 to 6:00 p.m., Wednesday, June 25, 2014, at Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd., 6601 - 38th Avenue, Moline. A funeral service will be held at 6:30 p.m. following the visitation. Per his wishes, cremation rites will be accorded after services. Memorials may be made to the family.

Kurt was born on March 17, 1955, in Davenport, IA, the son of Kurt and Catherine MacLean Bealer, Sr. He married Alberta "Robin" Black on August 10, 1974, in New Jersey. Together they spent a very happy 40 years loving each other.

Kurt held various positions in the automotive industry since the age of 16. He enjoyed woodworking, crappie fishing, camping, and the outdoors. He loved racing stock cars, watching NASCAR, and his favorite driver, Bill Elliot. More than anything, Kurt loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.
