Kyle Jacob Brenner

Kyle Jacob Brenner, 49, of Silvis, IL, passed away on Monday, May 25, 2026, at his home.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, June 5th, 2026, at Esterdahl Mortuary and Crematory, Ltd., Moline. Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 4th, 2026, at the funeral home. Private Interment will be at Riverside Cemetery. Memorials may be made to St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, Moline.

Kyle was born on July 21, 1976, in Moline, IL, the son of Kenneth and Jackie (Carlstrom) Brenner. He married Jennifer A. Brenner at the Valley of Fire State Park in Overton, Nevada on October 1, 2008. He attended Knox College/University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign 3-2 Program. Graduating in 1999, with a BA in Physics and a BS in Engineering Mechanics by the Department of Theoretical and Applied Mechanics (TAM), with a secondary field in Experimental Mechanics. Kyle worked as an Engineer for CNH for 15 years. He was an outstanding music scholar, a chess master, an avid fisherman, outdoorsman, and car enthusiast. Kyle was strongly family-orientated and loved being with his family. Kyle was a lifelong member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Moline.

Survivors include his wife, Jennifer Brenner; sons, Hossik and Landon Brenner; parents, Kenneth and Jackie Brenner; brothers, Cory (Fiancé Crissy Roeth) and Troy Brenner; niece, Taylinn Brenner; father and mother-in-law, Art and Caryn Chiappetta; brother and sister-in-law, Justin Chiappetta and Jessica (Michael) Follman; as well as many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, aunts Vicky Buck and Karen Flowers, and cousin William Flowers.
