Lennice Jones

Lennice “Jonesy” Jones, 84, of East Moline, passed away Friday, November 06, 2020, at Marigold Rehabilitation & Health Care, Galesburg, IL.

A graveside service will be held at 1:00 pm, Wednesday, November 11, 2020 at Greenview Memorial Gardens, East Moline.  In accordance with restrictions, attendees are expected to wear a face mask and observe social distancing.  A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.  Memorials may be made to Alzheimer’s Association.

Lennice was born on November 2, 1936, in Fort Dodge, IA, the daughter of August and Mary (Fuller) Rennick.  She married LeRoy Jones in Hannibal, MO, he preceded her in death.  Lennice enjoyed shooting pool, fishing, traveling, playing bingo, and bowling.

A special thank you to the doctor and staff at Hillcrest Home, the doctor and staff at Marigold Rehabilitation and Health Care, and Harbor Light Hospice for the excellent care and support they provided to our mother.

Survivors include her children, Karen (Richard), Coal Valley, and Daniel (Marsha), AR; 4 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; and siblings, Robert and Nancy

She was preceded in death by her mother; husband; and sisters, Mary, Alice, and Pat.
