Lillian M Hagstrom, 96, of Moline, IL, died Wednesday, July 16, 2014, at UnityPoint Health - Trinity Rock Island, Rock Island, IL.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. with a one hour visitation prior to the service on Saturday, July 19, 2014, at Trinity Lutheran Church, 1330-13th Street, Moline. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday, July 18, 2014, at Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd., 6601-38th Avenue, Moline. Burial will be at Rock Island Memorial Park Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the church.

Lillian Marion Johnson was born in Moline on October 13, 1917, the daughter of Lars and Amanda Swenson Johnson. She graduated from Rock Island High School and was employed at the former Augustana Book Concern. She married Fred G. Hagstrom on December 22, 1939. He died in 1966. Lillian was employed in the Circulation Department and at the switchboard at The Dispatch for 25 years, retiring in 1991. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, and a former charter member of Faith Lutheran Church, Moline. She belonged to King's Daughters, was active in church, and enjoyed travel, playing cards, and activities with friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.
