Lilyan Rachele Tristan, 8, of Moline, passed away painlessly and peacefully on Friday, Oct 10, 2014 in Hannover, Germany after almost 5 weeks of fighting a courageous battle with acute liver failure.
Funeral services will be 4:30 p.m. Saturday, October 18, 2014, at Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd., 6601 38th Avenue, Moline. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorial donations may be made to the Tristan family online at www.gofundme.com/fuvgqs.
Lilyan was born on April 4, 2006 in Moline, Illinois the daughter of Alibi Tristan and Michael Nobiling. Her Mother married Felipe Tristan in 2008.
Lilyan is part of a Military family as Felipe Currently serves in the United States Marine Corps. Because of this she has gotten to live in Hawaii, Florida, and most recently in Germany. Lily is an incredibly talented and passionate artist. Lilyan is an animal lover and loves horseback riding. She is able to communicate a little Spanish, Hawaiian, and German. She loves being a big sister to Nikolai and enjoys traveling around Europe. Lilyan has seen much of the world; she surfed and swam with dolphins in Hawaii, held an alligator in Florida, and got her wish of visiting the Eiffel Tower in Paris.
Survivors include her parents, Felipe and Alibi Tristan, and Michael Nobiling; brother, Nikolai Tristan; grandparents, David Keim, Rachele Mellon, Daniel and Elizabeth Nobiling, John and Lisa Hartman, Fil Tristan; great grandparents, Rita Keim, Rodger and Teresa Keim, Juan and Olga Tristan, James Horsman, Susan Griffiths, and Janice Nobiling; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
