Linda L. Brumberg

Linda L. Brumberg, 79, of Silvis, passed away, Tuesday, October 06, 2020, at her sons’ home in Rock Island.

Cremation rites will be accorded.  No services will be held at this time.  Memorials may be made to any cancer charity of your choice.  Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd., Moline is assisting the family.

Linda was born on February 4, 1941, in Davenport, IA, the daughter of Gust and Cloyce (Ensign) Galanius.  She married Charles F. Brumberg in December of 1960, in Rock Island, IL.  He preceded her in death on June 4, 2017.  Linda worked as an assistant manager for Dollar General for 8 years and for Wenger Truck Line.  Linda attended business college.  She enjoyed gardening, knitting, crocheting, and computers.

Survivors include sons, Gregory A. (Jody Nesbitt) Brumberg, East Moline, IL, and Cris A. (Mary Hallam) Brumberg, Rock Island, IL; 3 grandchildren, Jessica (Brett) Carlson, Natasha (Daniel) Lee, Brandon Laermans, 4 great grandchildren, Isabella and Owen Carlson, Alex and Sam Lee.

She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Hazel Adams; brother, Tomas Galanius.
