Linda E. Lindbloom

Linda E. Lindbloom, 80, of Orion, passed away Sunday, May 22, 2022, at UnityPoint Health Trinity Rock Island.

Cremation rites have been accorded. Memorial services will be held at 10:30 a.m., Saturday, July 16, 2022, at St. Paul Lutheran Church, Orion. Visitation will begin at 10 a.m. and go until service time. Memorials may be made to St. Paul Lutheran Church.  Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd., Orion, is assisting the family.

Linda was born on February 15, 1942, in Chicago, the daughter of Edward and Ruth (Ankersen) Nelson. She married Steve E. Lindbloom on June 8, 1963, in Mundelein, Illinois. Linda previously worked as a schoolteacher and later as the Lake County Illinois Jury Commissioner. She was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church. She was an avid pinochle and euchre card player, loved camping with family, visited all 50 of the United States, and was a HUGE Cub Fan.  She would watch and keep score of every game.

Survivors include her husband, Steve; daughter, Karen (Kevin Siuts) Massey, Punta Gorda, FL; son, Keith (Carrie) Lindbloom, Coal Valley; grandchildren, Ashley Massey, Kristen Massey, Madisen Lindbloom, Emily Lindbloom, Emilee Tingley; sister, Doris Mathews, Davenport.

She was preceded in death by her parents.
