Linda S. Williams, 65, of Moline, IL, died Wednesday, January 28, 2015, at UnityPoint Health - Trinity Rock Island, Rock Island, IL.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, January 31, 2015, at St. Pius X Catholic Church, 2502 29th Avenue, Rock Island. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. with a Rosary at 3:30 p.m. on Friday, January 30, 2015, at Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd., 6601 38th Avenue, Moline. Burial will be at St. Mary's Cemetery. Memorials may be made to her family for a fund to be established.
Linda was born on October 19, 1949, in Moline, IL, the daughter of Valerian and Laverne R. Waldschmidt Schnoebelen. She married Danny R. Williams on September 5, 1970, in Moline, and he preceded her in death on June 2, 2000.
Linda was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Moline and St. Mary's Altar & Rosary Society. She was an active supporter of QC Paws. Linda enjoyed playing Rummy and cards. She was an avid Illini and Chicago Bulls basketball fan. She loved babysitting for her family, spending time with her friends and children, and her couch companion, her dog, Sadie.
