Lisa M. Mizeur

Lisa M. Mizeur, 65, of Moline, IL, passed away, April 19, 2026, at her home.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, April 27, 2026, at First Evangelical Free Church, Moline. Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, April 26, 2026, at Esterdahl Mortuary and Crematory, Ltd., Moline. Cremation rites will be accorded. Memorials may be made to First Evangelical Free Church, Moline.

Lisa was born on October 25, 1960, in Freeport, IL, the daughter of Earl W. and Dorothy A. (Waterstreet) Kaufman. She married Scott A. Mizeur in Moline, on October 9, 1983. She was a member of the First United Presbyterian Church in Moline for 39 years and was currently attending the First Evangelical Free Church in Moline. Lisa worked passionately as a piano teacher and taught piano lessons for about 50 years. She also played the organ and piano throughout the local area for 40 years, including various nursing homes, churches, and schools.

Lisa found great joy and fulfillment in helping and caring for others, always going out of her way to offer kindness, support, and compassion whenever it was needed. Her time spent working with children at church or while giving piano lessons was especially close to her heart, as she delighted in their energy and curiosity.

Survivors include her husband, Scott Mizeur; sons, Matt Mizeur and Nic (Brooke) Mizeur; grandchild, Josiah Mizeur; sister, Pam Kaufman.

She was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Sara Kaufman.
