Lloyd Keith Terhune, 87, of Winston-Salem, NC, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, January 20, 2016, at Hospice Home at High Point, High Point, NC.
Visitation will be from 1 to 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, January 27, 2016, at Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd., 6601 38th Avenue, Moline. A graveside service will follow at 3 p.m. at Dayton Cemetery in Colona, IL.
Lloyd was born on March 18, 1928, the son of James and Sarah Arney Terhune. Lloyd retired from John Deere in Moline, IL, after 38 years of service and was a proud veteran of the United States Army. He enjoyed playing golf and attended Calvary Assembly of God Church in Greensboro, NC. A loving husband, father and grandfather, he will be deeply missed.
Survivors include his wife of 66 years, Jacqueline Terhune; two sons, Timothy Terhune and wife Gail, Thomas Terhune and wife Ava; daughter, Jacelyn Kershaw and husband Matt; brother, Chester (Louise) Terhune; eight grandchildren; and thirteen great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, LuAnn Cain; and sister, Betty Daniel.
