Lois Meredith, 82, of Silvis, IL, died Monday, April 21, 2014, at Aspen Rehab & Health Care, Silvis, IL.
Funeral Services will be held at Noon on Saturday, April 26, 2014, at Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, 1330 13th Street, Moline. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday, April 25, 2014, at Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd., 6601 38th Avenue, Moline. Burial will be at Moline Memorial Park. Memorials may be made to Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church.
Lois was born on August 11, 1931, in Moline, IL, the daughter of Loyed and Gladys (Hogden) Partlow. She married William Schatti and later married Lester H. Meredith in Rock Island County, IL, in 1956.
Lois worked as a key punch operator for John Deere Health Care, retiring after 19 years in May of 1993. She was also a key punch operator and an instructor at Black Hawk College. She enjoyed ceramics and crafts. Lois was a Leader for both Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts, Brownies, a member of the Moline PTA, and a volunteer at Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church. She was well known for her cooking and her homemade mac-n-cheese, which was irreplaceable.
Lois loved being with her grandchildren and her dog, Diamond. She loved to shop and was always dressed to a "T". Most of all, she will always be remembered for her infectious smile and very unique contagious laugh.

She was preceded in death by her parents; both husbands; daughter, Lynn Denato; brother, Harold; sister, Phyllis.
