Lois M. Rittel, 90, of Rock Island, IL, died Sunday, November 6, 2016, at St. Anthony’s Nursing and Continuing Care, Rock Island, IL.
Private burial will be at Greenview Memorial Gardens. Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd., Moline, is assisting the family with arrangements.
Lois was born on November 11, 1925, in Morrison, IL, the daughter of John and Marie Dunn Kirkham. She married Laurence Rittel on March 17, 1948, in Moline, IL, and he preceded her in death in 1994. She worked for several firms, including Van Epps Insurance Agency, from where she retired. Lois was a member of Riverside United Methodist Church.
Survivors include her friends, Ellen Unley-Davis, Rock Island, IL, and Robert (Judy) Bickle, Milan, IL.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Laurence, son, John.
