Lonnie Burns Hargis, 78, of Moline, IL, died Monday, September 21, 2015, at UnityPoint Health - Trinity Rock Island, Rock Island, IL.
Per his wishes, cremation rites have been accorded. Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd., Moline, is assisting the family with arrangements.
Lonnie was born on March 8, 1937, in Wood River, IL, the son of Judson Burns and Louise Greenling Hargis. He was a veteran, having proudly served in the United States Marine Corps. He worked as a welder for the Plumbers and Pipefitter Union Local 25.
