Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, July 8, 2026, at First Evangelical Free Church, Moline. Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 7, 2026, at Esterdahl Mortuary and Crematory, Ltd., Moline. Interment will be at the Rock Island National Cemetery. Lori was born on October 26, 1944, in McCook, Nebraska, the daughter of Robert and Ruth (Hall) Dukes. She married Dave Anderson in Culbertson, Nebraska on August 26, 1967. Lori dedicated her nursing career to caring for others with compassion, skill, and a generous heart. She served at Trinity as Director of Oncology and Hospice, later continued her calling as Hospice Manager at Genesis VNA, and ultimately retired from Trinity as Homecare Quality Manager. Lori loved her work, and those who knew her saw that caring for others was not simply her profession—it was part of who she was. Her love language was giving, both in her work and in her home life. Whether she was surprising a friend with a favorite snack, remembering a meaningful birthday gift, or offering her time, support, and resources without expecting anything in return, Lori had a way of saying, “You matter to me.” She was also gifted at quilting, creating beautiful pieces with patience, care, and love in every stitch. Seeing others smile because of something she had shared brought her genuine joy, and her generosity became one of the deepest expressions of her love.
As a devoted member of First Evangelical Church of Moline, she demonstrates her love for the Lord through her faithful participation in the church community and her commitment to living out her faith.
Survivors include her husband, Dave; sons, Mike (Holly Channon) Anderson and Rob (Cherri Brakhage) Anderson; granddaughter, Grace Anderson.
She was preceded in death by her parents, sister Roberta “Bobbi”, and brother Terry.
