LuAnn Hockill, 61, of Moline, IL, died Thursday, October 30, 2014, at home.
Per her wishes, cremation rites have been accorded and there will be no services. Memorials may be made to the Rock Island Animal Shelter. Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd., Moline, is assisting the family with arrangements.
LuAnn was born on July 2, 1953, in Seymour, IN, the daughter of William and Janet Pfaffenberger Davis.
She married Michael Hockill on June 16, 2005, in Davenport, IA. She worked as a caregiver for Home Instead in Davenport. In 2011, LuAnn was elected caregiver of the year.
LuAnn enjoyed painting, needlework, and cooking.
