Luanna M. Coon, 72, of East Moline, IL, died Sunday, January 19, 2014, at her home.
Funeral Services will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, January 23, 2014, at Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd., 6601 38th Avenue, Moline. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, January 22, 2014, at the funeral home. Burial will be at Rose Lawn Memorial Estates. Memorials may be made to the family.
Luanna was born on November 4, 1941, in Moline, IL, the daughter of Benjamin F. and Margaret (Catterton) Martin. She married Gerald Lee Coon on December 26, 1972, in Andalusia, IL, and he preceded her in death on June 7, 2002.
Luanna worked as an inserter for the Argus/Dispatch. Prior to that, she worked in dietary for Heartland Health Care Center and Service Rubber.
Luanna opened her home to many and her heart to everyone. She enjoyed watching the eagles fly. Her passion was country music, and she cherished her family. Luanna enjoyed collecting angels and loved watching Jeff Gordon.
