Lucille Spurgetis, 90, of Rock Island, IL, died Sunday, February 8, 2015, at Hope Creek Care Center, East Moline, IL.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, February 12, 2015, at St. George Greek Orthodox Church, 2930 31st Avenue, Rock Island. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. with a Trisagion service at 7 p.m. Wednesday, February 11, 2015, at Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd., 6601 38th Avenue, Moline. Burial will be at Rock Island Memorial Park. Memorials may be made to St. George Greek Orthodox Church.
Lucille was born on June 15, 1924, in Minatare, NE, the daughter of Theodore and Mary Pappas Spurgetis. She was a long time office manager for Greenview Memorial Gardens.
Lucille was a member of St. George Greek Orthodox Church where she enjoyed volunteering. She also enjoyed reading.

Sister Cleo (William) Malires Atlanta, GA
Many nieces and nephews
She was preceded in death by her parents and siblings, Ann Cole, Gus Spurgetis, George Spurgetis, Evangeline Hayden, and Pete Spurgetis.
